Thank you for viewing our website. The works you see here are examples of the quality taxidermy we have been providing to our customers for nearly 40 years. Although our studio is in central Wisconsin, we regularly ship throughout the United States. Our staff consists of talented and very experienced taxidermists. The majority of them have over 20 years and up to 40 years experience. Our experience is extensive in African taxidermy, New Zealand taxidermy as well as North American. This includes big game, birds, fish and fish reproductions.

Over the years, taxidermy has evolved into an art form. The skilled artisans at Mayes Taxidermy Studio spare nothing to make your mount both anatomically accurate and artistically appealing. The reconstruction of muscle and vein details as well as the knowledge of how to pose the animals in a natural and yet appealing way are vitally important. We know how much time, effort and expense goes into getting your trophy. We know you want to enjoy it the rest of your life. If it means enough for you to have it mounted, it needs to be done properly. That's where we come in! The quality and style of our work sets it apart from typical "commercial" taxidermy. Even those that have not had much experience with taxidermy can see the difference between our work and "the other guys".
Our entire staff takes great personal pride in each mount we do. We have never boasted to have the lowest price, but rather we provide you with a mount you can display with pride. We will quote you a very reasonable return time AND we will stick to it!
